night of the cardinal

okay so i went out to my family's car to get my ipad and when i walked back into the garage i heard thumping i thought i imagined it so i went back to locking up the car. then i turned round and saw on the canoe, a bird, it was trying to fly but only succeed in hitting it head. sorry the pictures are bad i had grabbed my ipad and used the camera on it and it was flying all over the place so it was hard to get it to stay in the same place for long enough for a decent picture but i went into my house and got my family and they came and my mother ( the owner of the hand holding the broom in he top picture) was able to get it out from above the garage door and back outside. Dont worry the bird was not injured and flew away only confused. poor thing
